Earlier this evening Engine 14 moved up to Hanover to fill in while their members and on duty staff gathered at Hanover Hospital for a salute to The Commissioner. The engine took in two runs and participated in the procession with five personnel.
This loss is immeasurable to not only the Hanover Fire Department, but also to the general area as well. Commissioner Roth was one of the nicest and most humble men the area fire service has ever had. His knowledge of the entirety of Hanover Borough, its neighborhoods, buildings, and fire service will never be matched. We stand in solidarity with the HFD, and offer our condolences to all that new him, especially his family. |
